Sedona Hills at Sunset – Step-by-Step

I fell in love with the red hills of Sedona, Arizona on my recent trip there.  This is a painting of the hills just north of Bell Rock at sunset.  Even with these vibrant colors, I could barely capture the beauty of this area.

This painting is oil on canvas, 15 by 27.  A slightly unusual size but it works for this landscape.
